The Scriptures warn us to come out of Babylon. It is clear that the holidays of this world are the epitome of the Babylonian system. A mixture. This is what the tree of knowledge is. A mixture of good and evil.
Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Isa 52:11 Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.
Jer 51:45 My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.
2Co 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
We will loathe ourselves when we see the horrible abominations we have committed.
Eze 6:8 Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.
Eze 6:9 And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall lothe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.
It is my hopes that the history of holidays of this world will cause believers to loathe them, and to repent. It is not my intention to cause grief to anyone, but the Word states that godly grief leads to repentance.
2Co 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
We have inherited lies and vanity
Jer 16:19 O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.
Man may have a right heart, yet still be ignorant of the Truth
Rom 10:2 For I testify to them that they have zeal to God, but not according to knowledge.
Rom 10:3 For being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God.
Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
2Ki 5:17 And Naaman said, Shall there not then, I pray thee, be given to thy servant two mules' burden of earth? for thy servant will henceforth offer neither burnt offering nor sacrifice unto other gods, but unto the LORD.
2Ki 5:18 In this thing the LORD pardon thy servant, that when my master goeth into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leaneth on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon: when I bow down myself in the house of Rimmon, the LORD pardon thy servant in this thing.
A right heart, but still high places (worship contrary to the Word). This is what is seen today. Many believe in the Scriptures yet are still partaking of idolatrous customs.
1Ki 15:11 And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of YHWH, like his father David.
1Ki 15:14 But they did not remove the high places. Only the heart of Asa was perfect with YHWH all the days.
1Ki 22:43 And he walked in all the ways of his father Asa. He did not turn aside from it, doing right in the eyes of YHWH. But the high places were not taken away; the people offered and burned incense yet in the high places.
2Ki 12:2 And Joash did that which was good in the eyes of YHWH all his days in which Jehoiada the priest guided him;
2Ki 12:3 only, the high places were not destroyed; the people still sacrificed and offered incense in high places.
2Ki 14:3 And he (Amaziah) did the right in the eyes of YHWH, but not like his father David; he did according to all that his father Joash did;
2Ki 14:4 however, the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and offered in the high places.

2Ch 15:17 Yet the high places were not removed from Israel. Only, the heart of Asa was perfect all his days.
2Ch 33:17 Nevertheless the people did sacrifice still in the high places, yet unto the LORD their God only.
But What is more pleasing to YHWH?
2Ki 18:3 And he (Hezekiah) did the right in the eyes of YHWH, according to all that his father David did;
2Ki 18:4 he took away the high places, and broke in pieces the pillars, and cut down the Asherah, and beat to bits the bronze serpent that Moses made (for in those days it was that the sons of Israel burned sacrifices to it) and called it Nehushtan.
2Ki 18:5 He trusted in YHWH the God of Israel, and after him there was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor who were before him;
2Ki 18:6 and he clung to YHWH; he did not turn aside from following Him, and kept His commands that YHWH commanded Moses.
2Ki 18:7 And Jehovah was with him. He acted prudently every place he went. And he rebelled against the king of Assyria and would not serve him.
When we destroy the pollution of evil, satan will come and try to deceive us that we are going against YHWH and that the idolatrous worship is in honor of Him.

2Ki 18:22 And when you say to me, We have trusted to Jehovah our God, is it not He whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has removed, and has said to Judah and to Jerusalem, Before this altar you shall bow yourselves in Jerusalem?
Others will not be happy with us either
Jdg 6:29 And they each said to his neighbor, Who has done this thing? And they asked and sought. And they said, Gideon the son of Joash has done this thing.
Jdg 6:30 And the men of the city said to Joash, Bring out your son, and he shall die, because he has broken down the altar of Baal, and because he has cut down the pillar beside it.
Fables...ie "Mythology”. When researching the holidays of this world it is clear that they trace back to the 'Mythologies' of old. These myths are based in reality and are the basis of the Mystery Religions from whence comes the religion of the beast. 2Pe 1:16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
1Ti 1:4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
2Ti 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Ti 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Heresies are needed in order to challenge people to seek the truth. These holidays are needed to test believers and see if they truly love and seek the Most High or not.
1Co 11:19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
Heathen ways are allowed to continue to test us
Jdg 2:19 And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they returned, and corrupted themselves more than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their own doings, nor from their stubborn way.
Jdg 2:20 And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel; and he said, Because that this people hath transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened unto my voice;
Jdg 2:21 I also will not henceforth drive out any from before them of the nations which Joshua left when he died:
Jdg 2:22 That through them I may prove Israel, whether they will keep the way of the LORD to walk therein, as their fathers did keep it, or not.
Jdg 2:23 Therefore the LORD left those nations, without driving them out hastily; neither delivered he them into the hand of Joshua.
Clean can not come out of unclean. If the origin of a holiday is rooted in Babylon, it can't be baptised with Biblical names to become clean. Thetree of knowledge will never bear the fruit of the Tree of Life.
Job 14:4 Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.
Hag 2:11 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,
Hag 2:12 If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.
Hag 2:13 Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.
Hag 2:14 Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the LORD; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.
Feasts of the beast:
In short the mark of the beast is a counterfeit of YHWH (Isaiah 14:14). The Mark of YHWH is His Word, His Image. The mark of the beast is his ‘word’, his image. The Tree of Life vs. the tree of knowledge of good and evil. It is the mark of a beast and a number of a man. Man/beast (Genesis 3:1).
Part man, part beast (angel/god Psalm 8:5 & Genesis 3:1). A mixture.
This is the definition of Babel of which we are admonished to come out of (Revelation 18:4). Babel = mixture in Hebrew. To the Sumerians Babel meant Gate of God or Gate to God. This points to a false ladder to heaven seen by Jacob and referenced by Messiah Yahshua. As this study progresses these two choices will be seen over and over again. Messiah Yahshua or the false Messiah. The word Messiah, or anointed one, further explains this concept. The Hebrew word for Messiah is moshiach from mashach which is referring to oil being smeared onto the heads of individuals who are selected as authority figures. The word Babel comes from the root
בל which is also the root for
בלל which means to mix, mingle, to
anoint. The third word translated from Hebrew into the English word anoint is 'yasak' which comes from the root צק which means an image, as in molten metal poured into a mold to form a cast object. Here, in the word anoint, is seen the message of this series on the Feasts of the Beast.
There are two anointed ones/messiahs/christs that man can choose from, just as there were two trees in the Garden to choose from. Which Messiah one chooses determines what image that person will be formed into. Which image one is formed into determines eternity. Formed into the image of Messiah Yahshua unto eternal life, or formed into the image of the beast unto eternal damnation.
The adversary desires to be like the Most High. In Hebrew, the phrase ‘like Elohim’ is equivalent to 666.
This is the first use of the phrase and sets the stage for the rest of Scriptures as to what the mark of the beast is. Partaking of the tree of knowledge of good and evil to be 'as God' 'knowing good and evil' so that 'ye shall surely not die.' This is the lie that the adversary spoke to the first man and woman and it has been passed down through all religious institutions ever since.
Gen 3:5 for God knows that in the day you eat of it, even your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as God, knowing good and evil.
As God = כאלהים
This series of studies is meant to expose many of the idolatrous customs that have crept into the worship of YHWH Elohim. I have attempted to trace back these customs to their source and show that it is not the Tree of Life and its fruit that is being partaken of, but the tree of knowledge of good and evil. The feasts of Scripture are shadows pointing to Messiah Yahshua. The feasts of the world are shadows pointing to the beast.

DECEPTION

DEVIL DECEIVES THE WHOLE WORLD
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
2Co 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

The devil deceives the whole world...if the whole world is celebrating a holiday that is supposed to be Biblical, then on must consider that perhaps it's origin is not from the Most High, but from that deceiver.
REPROVE DARKNESS
