Thanksgiving
{Thanksgiving is placed here as it is a holiday celebrated by the nation of the U.S.A. which is under the beast's control. However, my conclusion is that Thanksgiving is not a feast of the beast. It is a shadow picture of the two houses of Israel coming back together where they will rejoice and give thanks to the Most High. It is a time to remember the origins of this country and the 'faith of our fathers.'}

Feasts of the Beast: Introduction

The Scriptures warn us to come out of Babylon. It is clear that the holidays of this world are the epitome of the Babylonian system. A mixture. This is what the tree of knowledge is. A mixture of good and evil.

Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Isa 52:11 Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.

Jer 51:45 My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.

2Co 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

We will loathe ourselves when we see the horrible abominations we have committed.

Eze 6:8 Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.

Eze 6:9 And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall lothe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.

It is my hopes that the history of holidays of this world will cause believers to loathe them, and to repent. It is not my intention to cause grief to anyone, but the Word states that godly grief leads to repentance.

2Co 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

We have inherited lies and vanity

Jer 16:19 O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.

Man may have a right heart, yet still be ignorant of the Truth

Rom 10:2 For I testify to them that they have zeal to God, but not according to knowledge.

Rom 10:3 For being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God.

Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

2Ki 5:17 And Naaman said, Shall there not then, I pray thee, be given to thy servant two mules' burden of earth? for thy servant will henceforth offer neither burnt offering nor sacrifice unto other gods, but unto the LORD.

2Ki 5:18 In this thing the LORD pardon thy servant, that when my master goeth into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leaneth on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon: when I bow down myself in the house of Rimmon, the LORD pardon thy servant in this thing.

A right heart, but still high places (worship contrary to the Word). This is what is seen today. Many believe in the Scriptures yet are still partaking of idolatrous customs.

1Ki 15:11 And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of YHWH, like his father David.

1Ki 15:14 But they did not remove the high places. Only the heart of Asa was perfect with YHWH all the days.

1Ki 22:43 And he walked in all the ways of his father Asa. He did not turn aside from it, doing right in the eyes of YHWH. But the high places were not taken away; the people offered and burned incense yet in the high places.

2Ki 12:2 And Joash did that which was good in the eyes of YHWH all his days in which Jehoiada the priest guided him;

2Ki 12:3 only, the high places were not destroyed; the people still sacrificed and offered incense in high places.

2Ki 14:3 And he (Amaziah) did the right in the eyes of YHWH, but not like his father David; he did according to all that his father Joash did;

2Ki 14:4 however, the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and offered in the high places.

2Ki 15:3 And he(Jeroboam) did the right in the eyes of YHWH, according to all that his father Amaziah did;

2Ki 15:4 however, the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and burned incense in the high places.

2Ch 15:17 Yet the high places were not removed from Israel. Only, the heart of Asa was perfect all his days.

2Ch 33:17 Nevertheless the people did sacrifice still in the high places, yet unto the LORD their God only.

But What is more pleasing to YHWH?

2Ki 18:3 And he (Hezekiah) did the right in the eyes of YHWH, according to all that his father David did;

2Ki 18:4 he took away the high places, and broke in pieces the pillars, and cut down the Asherah, and beat to bits the bronze serpent that Moses made (for in those days it was that the sons of Israel burned sacrifices to it) and called it Nehushtan.

2Ki 18:5 He trusted in YHWH the God of Israel, and after him there was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor who were before him;

2Ki 18:6 and he clung to YHWH; he did not turn aside from following Him, and kept His commands that YHWH commanded Moses.

2Ki 18:7 And Jehovah was with him. He acted prudently every place he went. And he rebelled against the king of Assyria and would not serve him.

When we destroy the pollution of evil, satan will come and try to deceive us that we are going against YHWH and that the idolatrous worship is in honor of Him.

2Ki 18:22 And when you say to me, We have trusted to Jehovah our God, is it not He whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has removed, and has said to Judah and to Jerusalem, Before this altar you shall bow yourselves in Jerusalem?

Others will not be happy with us either

Jdg 6:29 And they each said to his neighbor, Who has done this thing? And they asked and sought. And they said, Gideon the son of Joash has done this thing.

Jdg 6:30 And the men of the city said to Joash, Bring out your son, and he shall die, because he has broken down the altar of Baal, and because he has cut down the pillar beside it.

Fables...ie "Mythology”. When researching the holidays of this world it is clear that they trace back to the 'Mythologies' of old. These myths are based in reality and are the basis of the Mystery Religions from whence comes the religion of the beast.

2Pe 1:16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

1Ti 1:4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

2Ti 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

2Ti 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Heresies are needed in order to challenge people to seek the truth. These holidays are needed to test believers and see if they truly love and seek the Most High or not.

1Co 11:19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

Heathen ways are allowed to continue to test us

Jdg 2:19 And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they returned, and corrupted themselves more than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their own doings, nor from their stubborn way.

Jdg 2:20 And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel; and he said, Because that this people hath transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened unto my voice;

Jdg 2:21 I also will not henceforth drive out any from before them of the nations which Joshua left when he died:

Jdg 2:22 That through them I may prove Israel, whether they will keep the way of the LORD to walk therein, as their fathers did keep it, or not.

Jdg 2:23 Therefore the LORD left those nations, without driving them out hastily; neither delivered he them into the hand of Joshua.

Clean can not come out of unclean. If the origin of a holiday is rooted in Babylon, it can't be baptised with Biblical names to become clean. Thetree of knowledge will never bear the fruit of the Tree of Life.

Job 14:4 Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.

Hag 2:11 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,

Hag 2:12 If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.

Hag 2:13 Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.

Hag 2:14 Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the LORD; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.

Feasts of the beast:
In short the mark of the beast is a counterfeit of YHWH (Isaiah 14:14). The Mark of YHWH is His Word, His Image. The mark of the beast is his ‘word’, his image. The Tree of Life vs. the tree of knowledge of good and evil. It is the mark of a beast and a number of a man. Man/beast (Genesis 3:1). Part man, part beast (angel/god Psalm 8:5 & Genesis 3:1). A mixture.

This is the definition of Babel of which we are admonished to come out of (Revelation 18:4). Babel = mixture in Hebrew. To the Sumerians Babel meant Gate of God or Gate to God. This points to a false ladder to heaven seen by Jacob and referenced by Messiah Yahshua. As this study progresses these two choices will be seen over and over again. Messiah Yahshua or the false Messiah. The word Messiah, or anointed one, further explains this concept. The Hebrew word for Messiah is moshiach from mashach which is referring to oil being smeared onto the heads of individuals who are selected as authority figures. The word Babel comes from the root בל which is also the root for בלל which means to mix, mingle, to anoint. The third word translated from Hebrew into the English word anoint is 'yasak' which comes from the root צק which means an image, as in molten metal poured into a mold to form a cast object. Here, in the word anoint, is seen the message of this series on the Feasts of the Beast.

There are two anointed ones/messiahs/christs that man can choose from, just as there were two trees in the Garden to choose from. Which Messiah one chooses determines what image that person will be formed into. Which image one is formed into determines eternity. Formed into the image of Messiah Yahshua unto eternal life, or formed into the image of the beast unto eternal damnation.

The adversary desires to be like the Most High. In Hebrew, the phrase ‘like Elohim’ is equivalent to 666.

This is the first use of the phrase and sets the stage for the rest of Scriptures as to what the mark of the beast is. Partaking of the tree of knowledge of good and evil to be 'as God' 'knowing good and evil' so that 'ye shall surely not die.' This is the lie that the adversary spoke to the first man and woman and it has been passed down through all religious institutions ever since.

Gen 3:5 for God knows that in the day you eat of it, even your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as God, knowing good and evil.

As God = כאלהים

This series of studies is meant to expose many of the idolatrous customs that have crept into the worship of YHWH Elohim. I have attempted to trace back these customs to their source and show that it is not the Tree of Life and its fruit that is being partaken of, but the tree of knowledge of good and evil. The feasts of Scripture are shadows pointing to Messiah Yahshua. The feasts of the world are shadows pointing to the beast.

OPEN REBUKE...

ZEAL WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE

GOLDEN CALF = WORSHIPING YHWH IN SAME WAY THE HEATHENS WORSHIP THEIR GODS

Exo 32:1 And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

Exo 32:2 And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.

Exo 32:3 And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.

Exo 32:4 And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

The Greek word παραδοσις, which is translated as ‘tradition,’ has the numerical value of 666.

DECEPTION

2Th 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

DEVIL DECEIVES THE WHOLE WORLD

Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

2Co 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

2Co 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Eph 4:27 Neither give place to the devil.

The devil deceives the whole world...if the whole world is celebrating a holiday that is supposed to be Biblical, then on must consider that perhaps it's origin is not from the Most High, but from that deceiver.

REPROVE DARKNESS

Eph 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Mat 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

1Co 10:20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

DON'T HATE CORRECTION

Pro 15:10 Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die.

Pro 15:32 He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.

CHOOSE

Jos 24:14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.

Jos 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Compromise

Compromise in Hebrew is פשרה which comes from the Hebrew word פתר which means the 'revealing of text or speech in order to understand it.' פשרה traces back further to the 2 letter root word פר which means fruit. In context, פר has the meaning of the breaking open to reveal the meaning of a thing.

Notice that the English word bull comes from this word as well. It is no surprise that it is the golden calf/bull incident in Exodus that best describes the feasts of the beast. A mixture of good and evil...the fruit of the tree of knowledge applied to YHWH.

Compromise in English is a compound of 'com' which means to come together and 'promittere' (promise). Promise = the Word. Compromise has the meaning of an agreement, similar to covenant. Here we see that to compromise is to agree to a set of terms, to enter into contract/covenant. We can walk in covenant with YHWH Elohim, revealing the fruit of the Tree of Life, or we can choose to walk in covenant with the beast system revealing the fruit of the tree of knowledge.

Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The Greek word translated as 'conformed' is συσχηματίζω 'suschēmatizō' which has the meaning of 'fashioning oneself after another's pattern. This is the essence of the Mark of YHWH vs. the mark of the beast. This Greek word traces back to the Hebrew word פת which is strongly related to the above Hebrew word פתר which is translated as compromise. פת in Hebrew is literally, the female reproductive organ from whence the fruit comes forth...the fruit is revealed. The Word = the Seed (Luke 8:11). We will bear the fruit of the seed that is planted in our hearts. The Seed of the Word which brings forth life, or the seed of falsehood which brings forth death.

We will reap what we sow. We can't call ourselves believers, or disciples and walk like the world and with the world.

Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Gal 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

1Pe 1:14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

What was the cause of Eve taking the fruit of the tree of knowledge? Lust.
Gen 3:6 And the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and the tree was desirable to make one wise. And she took of its fruit and ate; and she also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.

The word 'desirable' above comes from the following Hebrew word:

Believers are to come out of the ways of the world:

Eph 4:17 Therefore, I say this, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk even as also the rest of the nations walk, in the vanity of their mind,
Eph 4:18 having been darkened in the intellect, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance which is in them because of the hardness of their heart,
Eph 4:19 who, having cast off all feeling, gave themselves up to lust, to the working of all uncleanness with greediness.
Eph 4:20 But you have not so learned Christ,
Eph 4:21 if indeed you heard Him and were taught in Him, as the truth is in Jesus.
Eph 4:22 For you have put off the old man, as regards the former behavior, having been corrupted according to the deceitful lusts,
Eph 4:23 and to be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
Eph 4:24 and to put on the new man, which according to God was created in righteousness and true holiness.

Believers are not to compromise with the world:
Exo 34:12 Take heed to yourself, that you not cut a covenant with the people of the land to which you are going in, that it not be a snare in your midst.
Exo 34:13 But you shall cut down their altars, break their pillars, and you shall cut off their Asherahs.
Exo 34:14 For you shall not bow to another god, for YHWH whose name is Jealous, He is a jealous God;
Exo 34:15 that you not cut a covenant with the people of the land, and they fornicate with their gods, and they call to you, and you eat from his sacrifice;
Exo 34:16 and you take from their daughters for your sons, and their daughters fornicate with their gods, and they lead your sons to fornicate with their gods.

Believers are not to eat at two tables...
1Co 10:20 But the things the nations sacrifice, "they sacrifice to demons, and not to God." Deut. 32:17 But I do not want you to become sharers of demons;
1Co 10:21 you cannot drink the cup of the Lord and a cup of demons; you cannot partake of the table of the Lord, and a table of demons.
2Co 6:14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership does righteousness have with lawlessness? And what fellowship does light have with darkness?

Those who compromise with the world can't be holy unto YHWH
2Co 6:15 And what agreement does Christ have with Belial? Or what part does a believer have with an unbeliever?

Compromising with the world system is a slippery path of which we must avoid.

Psa 94:18 If I said, My foot slides, O YHWH, Your mercy has held me up.

The word for slip/slide comes from the Hebrew word מט which means a green branch which is flexible. מוטבה 'yoke' comes from this root. Yokes were taken from green branches, shaped and then left to dry. Being marked is likened unto being yoked. We can be yoked with YHWH and receive His Mark, or we can be yoked with the beast and receive his mark.

The root word for mark is a picture of an ox plowing toward a mark. In ancient Hebrew thought, Elohim was seen as the strong ox that we are yoked with in covenant relationship. The word for mark is a picture of walking with your Elohim toward your mark/goal (Philippians 3:14). Walking with Messiah (Mat 11:29) towards the Kingdom of Heaven or walking with the adversary towards sheol. This is what Shaul was alluding to in his letter to the Corinthians (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).

Covenant relationship is linked with walking together. (1 Kings 8:23; 2 Kings 23:3; 2 Chronicles 6:14; 34:31; Psalm 78:10) Gen 17:1 And when Abram was ninety nine years old, YHWH appeared to Abram and said to him, I am the Almighty God! Walk before me and be perfect;
Gen 17:2 and I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you very much.
Amo 3:3 Will two walk together (Heb. yachad – one) except they are agreed?
The word translated as ‘agreed’ here is ‘ya’ad.’

When we slip, or our branches begin to bend in the wrong direction, YHWH comes to our rescue and supports us before we break off of the vine (Messiah) and fall to the ground to dry out, wither, die and then are cast into the fire.

The green branch remains alive because it is connected to its source and contains water. If we bend too far with the world and compromise too much, we run the risk of being broken altogether and falling from our source of life.

Psa 16:8 I have set YHWH always before me; for He is at my right hand: I shall not be shaken.

The word for shaken is the above word מוט 'mot' which is the same root for yoke. The Messiah says in Matthew 11:29 to take up His yoke...in this picture we are yoked up with the Messiah, with Him at our right hand where we won't be shaken/bent/conformed to this world.

We must stay yoked with Messiah, walking in cycles of righteousness. These are His feasts and Holy days. The keeping of the feasts of the beasts yokes us to the adversary and separates us from our Lord.

Disciples are those who are yoked to Him.

Joh 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
Joh 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

If we compromise with ANYONE, even family we can't be His disciples. We can't eat at the table of the Lord and the table of demons for bitter water and sweet water does not come from the same source. We are either branches of the tree of Life, or branches of the tree of knowledge. It is one or the other...it can't be both.
Luk 14:26 If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brothers and sisters, and besides, even his own life, he cannot be My disciple.

צמד Tsamad is an adopted word from the root מט Mat

This is the word used when Yisrael joined (tsamad) Ba'al Peor and ate sacrifices of the dead. Here we see Yisrael, due to their hard hearts, rebelling against being yoke with YHWH and keeping of His Torah (feasts, paths) to be yoked with a false god and the false feasts associated with worship of that god (Numbers 25:3-5; Psalm 106:28).

If this be true, and the arguments adduced in its support appear sound and conclusive, the above mystical ceremony of sealing the redeemed may be taken from the custom of marking the aspirant with a permanent badge of initiation, which may be an indelible token of his acceptance. This mark or badge in India and Egypt was the Tautic Crossclick here; and it still appears amongst the hieroglyphics of the Brahmins, and profusely on the monuments of Egypt, where most of the deities bear it conspicuously about their persons. In the Dionysiaca, or the mysteries of Bacchus, the mark was a leaf of the ivy or vineclick here. There is a pointed reference to it in the divine command given to Moses in the wilderness, when many of the Israelites had been initiated into the disgusting mysteries of Baalpeor: 'Take all the heads of the people and hang them up;' referring to the princes of the tribes, who were directed to hang all those who had been thus initiated. Boothroyd translates the original thus: 'Take all the heads of the people, and let them slay those men who have worn the badges of Baal-peor."

*the word translated as 'joined' in verse 3 is from the Hebrew 'tsamad' which means a bracelet, used in specific to a man and woman in marriage (Genesis 24:22; Ezekiel 16:11). It also refers to the yoke. We can be yoked to Messiah, or yoked to the antichrist. Tsamad also is pictured by the frame of a building being fit together to form a house. We can partake of the Wedding supper of the Lamb, or the feast of the beast. We can members of the body of Messiah, or the body of antichrist. It is our choice.

Walking in His paths, that we be not bent/conformed to this world
Psa 17:5 My steps have kept in Your tracks so that my strides have not slipped.

The word for tracks in Psalm 17:5 is מעגּל which is the same word for paths of righteousness in the following verse:

Psa 23:3 He restores my soul; He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

Literally, this word means the trench made from the wheels of carts that are connected to bulls. Again, linking to the picture of walking with Messiah, the older ox, as His disciple.

His paths are His Feasts.
